LPG Save
Option 1: 51 pence per litre, Fixed for 12 months. In Year 2, your gas price will then be capped at no more than 7 pence per litre above the Year 1 Price. (+vat @ 5%).
Option 2: 54 pence per litre, Fixed for 24 months (+vat @ 5%)
Midlands LPG (does anyone use this company or have any feedback - seems to good to be true...)
43 pence per litre, fixed for 12 months, year 2 variable (currently 43ppl)
Callow Gas (local supplier)
58 pence per litre variable
Looks like I will probably stick with Flogas as I can't find any feedback about Midlands LPG.
Please tell me you are considering Midlands LPG, now you do have feedback? :-)

just moved into a house with LPG. contract through with FloGas, who supplied previous owner. stating 0.65p/l and 0.41p/day standing charge. seems price compared to above but not offered anything else. is it worth a call to discuss with them or shopping around first?2010 wins: River Shoes :j, McCains Chips, toy dog
Dec Wins: Canvas art
Nov wins: Tickets to Wales v Argentina Rugby. 2x Delia Cookbook, 1 x Robbie williams download0 -

That is quite a point in favour of Midlands lpg and similar independents, who can't survive by doing the same ..

Hello everyone,
We moved into the property we purchased, which has an LPG tank. We contacted the supplier and asked them what the process is for them to remove the tank and they want to charge us £1000 to remove it! We don't have a contract with them, neither we have paid them anything so far.
How do we challenge the charge and get them to remove their tank? Any help would be greatly appreciated as this seems to be unregulated and there's not much support out there!
Thanks in advance!

Just wondering what your views are on this situation with Calor
Calor topped my tank up last May by mistake. Nothing was put through my door to say they had done this so I wasn’t aware until a couple of months later when I was checking. I tried to report on they’re web site but it was not working for a long time and over time I just forgot about it.It was 60% full at the time and I had not requested a fill because I diligently keep an eye on our tank and fill up (when possible)) when prices are lower.
13 months later I received an email with an invoice for this smallish top up, charged at 75p per ltr. No mention that they were sorry and had made a mistake. I replied to the email and asked for someone to call me to discuss - no reply. I messaged them on the now working web site - no reply. I emailed them - no reply.
I phoned and asked for some to call which they promised they would and also gave me a number relating to enquiry- you guessed it - no reply.
Now we have received the threatening letter so I phoned again, long telephone conversation it basically they will not budge. When I asked if they would take some responsibility for their mistake the response was we are taking responsibility by admitting that we made a mistake and we’re sorry but being as you have used the gas you have to pay.
