Anyone any experience of using LPG-Save for getting competitive quotes at renewal?0

Lots of posts on here about how it will be a Flogas quote you will get.Trickmeister said:Anyone any experience of using LPG-Save for getting competitive quotes at renewal?1 -
Similar to others, we "fixed" with Calor a couple of months ago - 55p per litre. It was meant to be fixed for 1 year and then variable for year 2 (with a limit on the price increase).
Then this morning I receive a letter from Calor saying they are raising the price by 12p per litre to 77p per litre. I'm assuming my "fixed price" deal with them that I agree a couple of weeks ago doesn't count any longer?

Hi Woggle,
I'm in exactly the same position ('fixed' at 50p/l early August) and got this same letter.
I spoke to the person who negotiated my renewal and she thinks that the contract is fixed price and that it only becomes variable in Year 2. I think she's wrong (hope she's right) but is checking it for me. I'll keep you posted.
Did hear from a local supplier that Calor had quoted one customer a new price of 85p/litre!!!!!!0 -
Yes, I have used them twice when re-contracting and yes both times with Flogas, BUT at a very good price so not too bothered.Sorting_Hat said:

I fixed with Avanti back in April at 50ppl +VAT. Got an increase letter a few weeks later and ignored it. A couple of weeks ago we had our first fill since the fix, and the invoice says 50ppl. I just assumed it was a standard letter to everyone (but this was before things got really out of control so who knows?)Woggle said:Similar to others, we "fixed" with Calor a couple of months ago - 55p per litre. Just got off the phone with the person I negotiated renewal with and she confirmed that my 12 month fix is fixed and will be writing to confirm that. Seems you may be right about the letters (in this case Calor) being a blanket mailshot.Cheery_Daff said:

Great thanks. I've put a phone call into Calor and will be asking the same - hopefully the same for Calor as it is for Avanti.Trickmeister said:
