Flowers
Hello everyone :) I'm looking into getting silk flowers for my wedding, because they're so much cheaper and I love the idea of being able to keep them for the future...however, I want flowers that look quite wild, e.g. bluebells, daisies etc and I can't seem to find anyone who makes this sort of thing. Does anyone have any…

DIY wedding/celebration - what would you hire?
Hi guys I've been shocked at the cost of chair covers, crockery, tablecloths etc and wondered if an idea I've had would have any appeal. I'm looking for feedback, suggestions and constructive criticism. Over the years my mum and I have been the go to people for all family and friends celebrations. Whether decorating the…

HSamuel Any Good for Wedding Rings?
Is H-Samuel any good for wedding rings? They seem to have some nice designs but I don't know if a less known store in London or Birmingham's Jewellery quarter might be a better bet. Thanks

Making a petticoat bigger on waist?
I bought a mermaid petticoat for my wedding dress (bought from China, love it so much!) which is the perfect shape but too short for me! I'm 6ft tall without heels. If I pull the waistband down to sit on my hips the length is much better but the elastic is too tight and gives me a muffin top. I'm not at all good at sewing…

When to have alterations?
Being very MSE, I bought a second hand wedding dress two sizes too big. When should I arrange to have alterations done? Again I also bought two second hand junior bridesmaids dresses for children. How far in advance of the wedding should they be measured up given that they will grow a lot between now and the wedding?
