HSamuel Any Good for Wedding Rings?

Is H-Samuel any good for wedding rings?
They seem to have some nice designs but I don't know if a less known store in London or Birmingham's Jewellery quarter might be a better bet.
Thanks

Mine cost £30 from Samuels, 30 years ago. The marriage has survived intact (though a bit ragged round the edges!) and the wedding ring is still round and gold, so I'd say that was a pretty good bet.Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0

I'm sure H Samuel rings are fine, but you will find them a lot cheaper (compare weights of rings in grams to get a true comparison) in the jewellery quarter or online at somewhere like Betts Metals. Register as a hobbyist to get the trade prices, which are loads cheaper than the high street! Wedding Rings Direct and The Beautiful Company are other websites that seem to get good feedback on here xxGC2012: Nov £130.52/£125

Well, I found a nice design a few weeks ago so bought it.
£500 worth of rings, but no signature required! Talk about a security risk! Anyway, went through Topcashback so should get about £50 back, took one ring for a refund anyway so it's just mine.
I couldn't really find a similar design anywhere else so I'm happy0 -
We have had excellent service from wedding rings direct, I would recommend them to anyone.0

I used H Samuel for my wedding ring and am very happy with it
However, it was a bit more than I wanted to pay. I only went for it because it was the perfect fit for my unusual shaped engagement ring and I fell in love with it. I tried on quite a few rings and they do have a nice variety of styles. Apparently they change stock designs quite often too
So I'd say they are good...but there are cheaper places that it might be advisable to look in first!SPC '21 #0750 -

You will definitely get a much better deal in Brum. Hatton Garden is supposed to be the London equivalent but I have never been there so can't comment on value.
We sourced our wedding rings from Brum and, when compared to similar rings in the high street shops like Samuels, we got twice the ring for the same money. My wife's was made to our exact specifications too so it is unique to her. Mine was a cheap titanium job as it only gets worn once in a blue moon for ceremonial purposes.0 -
All the fuss made about buying the "right" rings. It's what's right for YOU that counts. It's an emotional purchase, and if the ring you really love cones from a high street store or from an artisan jeweller it doesn't really matter. Just so on gas it's the one for you."I AM DEATH, NOT TAXES. I TURN UP ONLY ONCE."- Terry Pratchett0

Ours are H Samuel and we are very happy with them.
Buy what you like, you have to wear it for the rest of your life.
