Just wondering what people's experiences of airbrush makeup were versus traditional makeup for their big day?

I'm interested to hear what other people say on this.
For my brothers wedding when I was a bridesmaid they used airbrush makeup...it looked good on clear skin but where she concealed spots was cakey and orange. Not sure whether this is because the MUA didn't do it very well or because it was the airbrush foundation. I know the makeup artist would have been the most expensive in the area (they are very rich) but that doesn't mean she necessarily was the best.
The mother of the bride, however, looked about 20 years younger after having the airbrush makeup applied!
Not sure what to do for my wedding. It seems quite a bit more expensive...GC2012: Nov £130.52/£125
GC2011:Sept:£215Oct:£123.98Nov:£120Dec:£138Feb:£94.72

I have rubbish skin, so I'm definitely intrigued by the idea of airbrush make up
I don't like the idea of my spots looking cakey and orange though!
I'm going to a wedding in a couple of months where the bride and bridesmaids are going to be having airbrush make up, so I guess I'll see what it looks like thenSPC '21 #0750 -
I have terrible skin but my MUA used airbrush foundation and it was amazing. You can mix shades so that you get a perfect match with your skin tone and you can layer it in areas where it is needed. I'm a convert to it - I love it!0

How much does this typically cost and how long does it last? I dont really want to be re doing my make up during a ten hour day mainly out side. I dont normally wear much makeup but dont want to look like a clown though.0
