UK air miles schemes for Easyjet
Hi I'm a frequent business flyer and use Easyjet quite a lot for travel around the UK. I wanted to ask if anyone knows of any travel or airmile schemes I could be using? I would fly around 3 days a week so have a lot of miles to collect of possible. I know Easyjet offers a loyalty scheme but all they give those members is…

How to visit downtown abbey?
Hi my partner loves downtown abbey and I was told you can actually visit there on certain times of the year? Has anyone ever been? And with us living in Manchester I'm guessing it's best to stay close for a day or two so would there be anywhere close by to this? Thanks

Nice coastal remote cottage holiday Scotland
My wife and I want to go away in February 2017 for around 5-7 nights. We like beautiful remote, rugged coastline with perhaps a nice pub/restaurant within reasonable walking distance. Love nature and birdwatching. If anyone can help us with some suggestions of locations, letting agencies/private letting with reasonable…

Family on the Tube
What is the best way to get around on the tube as a family over a weekend? I notice the 3-day travelcard is no more. Contactless cards arent appropriate as we will have children/teenagers with us and as we will be visiting only once, Oyster cards seem OTT. How much is a cheapest 3-day/weekend travelcard for 4 x adults and…

Keeping food warm on a journey
Apologies if this is not a good place to ask this question, but I can't quite work out which part of the forum would be best. Next week myself and a few friends are helping another friend move house. As I have various dietary requirements I said I'd cook my version of paella and take it for us to eat at lunchtime. My…

Our party would include 4 x adults and 3 x kids, so looking for 2 x family rooms but the prices for this type of room wherever I look seem extremely high. Plus all of the various travelodge & premier inn central…

Newquay Cornwall in April
Hi, we've booked and paid deposit for a cottage in Newquay for a week in August that we now cannot do (baby due right before that week, and so might not even have arrived yet, and definitely don't want to be that far away!). In order to make use of the deposit and not lose it, we can move it to a week in April school…

Is three weeks to long?
Three ladies I know want to visit London in February. They want to stay for three weeks, but I feel that would be too long just for taking in the sights. Just a quick look at the entrance fees for some of the attractions will cost a small fortune (why the voluntary £2.50 at tower of London?) or am I out of touch? Can…

Hotel near Uni of Essex Loughton campus
Hi! Not a holiday as such - my DD needs to be at University of Essex Loughton campus early in the morning, and it looks like she'll need to stay over the night before to make the travel practical. She's looking for a hotel - Premier Inn type - that would be within about half a hour by public transport in the morning to…

Cheap places to eat (just for tomorrow) in Edinburgh late afternoon
I was going to go to Edinburgh early tomorrow but have an appointment, and the only other fast train arrives in Edinburgh at 2pm so I will miss lunchtime deals which is a shame as I normally visit a place on Elm Row that I get a 3 course meal for £6 but by time I get there will be around 2.15 so missed last orders. I am…

Black Friday Virgin Balloon Flights Sales
There's an early sign-up form here: http://www.virginballoonflights.co.uk/black-friday/ Last year had some pretty big discounts so worth a look if you're thinking experience days for a Christmas present. I flew at Bristol Balloon Fiesta last year and it was awesome, even for someone not keen on heights like me.
