Cheap Boating Holiday recommendations

Hi,
We were hoping to spend a from 4 days to a week from the 18th Feb on a boating holiday, but the boat hire is all rather more than we were expecting. Can anyone recommend cheap boat hire for two people for 4 to 7 days in England? The priority is the price, location is a secondary consideration for us.

I was watching this thread with interest, I assume there aren't any cheap options for boating hols!

You don't state what you mean by cheap.

Norfolk Broads boat hire can be cheap if you don't mind going on the old boats they've had for years rather than the shiny newer ones.

As you've found out though, it can be quite pricey for boating holidays so it might not be possible to get it as 'cheap' as you want.
