Hi! Newbie poster here. Will try to keep it short and to the point... Butlins ~ Am I right to be annoyed?
Hi, I’m new to this forum and after some advice please as I don’t know if I have a right to be annoyed or if it’s just a case of sour grapes. Butlins were doing one of their many ‘super sale’ offers but this one looked reasonable. I had a look at the offers and did a quote, it didn’t add up though so I enquirer on Twitter…

Ideas for partners birthday - 12th May 2018
So I'd like to take my partner away for a night on 12th May for her birthday. Not dead set on location, but we're based in Dorset, so wouldn't really want to go anything more than around 2 hours travel as it's just the one night. Suggestions on where to stay? Ideally, looking for somewhere where we can go out for a nice…

Travel insurance to cover missed uk flight
Just realised my current annual policy does not cover missed flights in the uk. Of course, planning to leave with plenty of time but who knows. Would rather pay a few quid just in case. Trouble is it seems a lot of insurers only cover international flights leaving the uk not internal flights.

Airbnb
Thoughts or experiences? I am going to do a little travelling around Europe late this year off the beaten track. Heading for Sweden and then down to Germany and across east to Greece and hoping to finish off in Portugal. I am not the biggest fan of Hotels as I find them too sterile in many cases and expensive, so getting…

to motorhome or not to motorhome (or caravan)
Hi, keen to canvass as many opinions as possible about motor-home/caravaning, the good and the bad please. I used to think it was a more frugal option (which is a tune I hope we can all dance to) but once you've paid for site fee's and fuel + ferries if you're going abroad, not to mention the initial outlay it quickly adds…
