New Brighton.

Hi, never thought of visiting New Brighton up to now, even though we only live 40 miles away.
Given the brilliant weather we're having, we're going to go this weekend Is it good for swimming given that you are pretty well in Mersey estuary?
Will be taking a pump up spray to rinse off afterwards!

Never been there but the water quality is very good according to this (5*)

Great place loads of places for a swim and it has gone through an upgrade recently lots of new chain restaurants on the sea front.

The fort is a good museum to walk around

If swimming the best one i would say is just up from New Brighton in West Kirby and at low tide it's a great walk to the island to see the Seals

Went yesterday, quite impressed with facilities & loads of free car parking. Swimming was OK for UK, if you ignored the herds of jellyfish.
Fort looks like it's been closed down (For good?).
May go again next weekend & will have a look at West Kirby & island.
