Student loan for studying abroad
My son is wanting to study at Delft University in the Netherlands. However, although he can get a loan to cover tuition fees, he is not able to get a student loan for maintenance. Are there any loans which are available which wouldn’t require repayment to start for 3 years ie once he (hopefully) has a job!

Can I use my student loans to buy a house
My boyfriend and I are tired of paying ridiculous amounts to rent sub par houses and want to buy a house instead. He's in full time work, I'm in part time and am also a student. Both our parents have saved money over the years for us to be able to use as a deposit for a house but both our incomes are fairly low (his is…

Better to use savings or get a postgrad loan for Master's degree?
I'm thinking about doing a part-time MA while I work. I have a small amount of savings, enough to cover my MA fees, and I would still be earning and saving while studying for the MA. I think I would feel more reassured leaving my savings untouched and taking out a postgrad loan instead, but is that a stupid idea…

Redundancy and maintenance grant already applied for and accepted on old wage
Hi, So, my daughter is starting University this year, tuition fees and maintenance grants sorted a few months ago. Obviously, based on what my earnings were. I was made redundant starting from July (three months full pay), so as of October, I will be earning substantially less, I have jobs lined up, but I am unlikely to…
