Homebase 15% off weekends?
Is it true that Homebase no longer have their 15% off weekends? I want to buy a footstool to match my sofas from there but they are ridiculously expensive so I phoned to ask when their next 15% off weekend was, hoping it would be this bank holiday weekend. The (unhelpful) member of staff said she 'didn't think' they did…

Converting John Lewis vouchers to cash?
Hi, I wondered if it was possible to convert approximately £250 worth of John Lewis Vouchers into cash? I see many sell them on ebay for almost the face value, but I think we may be stung on paypal fees. I tried one Paypal calc and it came out at charging us £30. We got them as wedding gifts, but would like to use the…

Anyone used photovideodirect.co.uk?
Billed as an Australian company with UK offices. Quite obviously grey import goods. There's a Tokina DLSR lens I want that hasn't been released in the UK after months of waiting, and still no sign of a launch date here. I've been seriously considering importing (maybe from Digital Rev) but the above website's price is…

Amazon logic
Bought 2 items and the total came yp £19.65, to qualify for free p&p I added a 40p ruler to bring it over £20. Well looks like something went wrong with the pick so they couldn't add the ruler. So they sent the two items I wanted and postponed the ruler for later delivery. So for a 40p item they will spend another £2-£3…

I now have a Samsung webcam…
