Best wet shaver - price per shave

Options
What wet shaver do you find works longest and best for you?

Do you use a supermarket own label, or big brand one e.g. Gillette or Wilkinson Sword?

I have bought, Lidl's, I have bought Tesco's, currently use Sainsbury's - good design to channel the debris.

It's hard to judge value for money sometimes, because I don't shave every day - since retired - more like every three (sometimes four) days!

If you use a big brand - how long does it last?

Wow, plenty of views, but no replies/comments - does that mean that all the male readers either have beards, or use an electric razor?

I'm not a man, but use a safety razor (marketed at men) and find it really good value.

I usually get the branded ones when the are on offer , a decent blade lasts about 3 months , that's using it every other day

I use an old fashioned safety razor. The blades I use are Astra Platinum Double Edged. £9.00 for 100 blades. All depends how heavy your growth, 1 blade will last about 5 shaves.

Also best to buy a good badger brush & shaving cream(Body Shop shaving cream or Taylors)

Not for the faint hearted if you have never used them before.
