Coventary ISA Transfer
I have a 5 year ISA with Coventry at a poor rate of 1.75%. It has 2 year left to run. Can I transfer it to another Coventary ISA at ~4% or is it easier to transfer it to another provider? I'm assuming I will loose 90 days interest, but can't find the original T&C's to confirm exactly

Paying into a HTB ISA and cash ISA
My daughter has a Help to Buy ISA which currently stands at £14,000 and is paying 4.7% with Yorkshire BS. She is aware that she only needs to hold £12,000 to get the benefits when she buys a house. We were wondering if now the rules have changed regarding paying into ISA`s if she would be able to put £17,000 into a cash…

On recommendation from here I set about opening a new account - for a transfer in Cash ISA - few steps but done 👍👍 Tried to transfer in from Cooperative bank - no go - it isn't listed. ISA transfer and opening
I have a fixed rate cash isa with kent reliance and I have paid into it this tax year £19k. It is due to mature in December. I’m aware that the new rules with Isas suggest you can open multiple cash isas in a tax year, provided you stay within the limit of funding. Kent reliance is a company who don’t allow you to pay into…

Chip flexible isa
Hi everyone. I have a Chip flexible isa which I opened last year. I had £17000 in it from the last tax year. I have recently opened a Trading 212 flexible isa this year. I plan to withdraw the most of the funds from the Chip isa and deposit them in the 212 isa, manually not through isa transfer. Obviously because 212 has…

Query re: when a fixed term ISA (opened and matured in different tax years) counts
Hi all, I opened a 1 year fixed cash ISA in Sept 23 (23/24 tax year) depositing the full £20k allowance at account opening. It matured in Sept 24 (24/25 tax year) with £1,500 interest and the ISA account had to be closed. I gave instructions to transfer the full amount (£21,150) to a new cash ISA with the same bank. Sorry…

Partial ISA transfers when ISA is combination of current and previous years?
Can anyone advise...my partner has a Bank of Scotland ISA that matured yesterday to a 1.35 ISA Saver. I encouraged him to open several new ISAs to transfer this to, so earlier this week helped him open a Zopa 4.8% (4.5% from 22/11) and Paragon Double Access 4.87%. Background - both of us were financially fairly clueless…

Cash ISA maturing-above FSCS limit
I have a cash ISA with Secure Trust Bank maturing in November 2024 and the balance plus interest will exceed the FSCS limit of £85000. I had the same issue with them last year but decided to re-invest as the rate was better than I could find elsewhere. I have e-mailed to check but they seem to want you to invest the full…

S&S ISA - overthinking, help!
So, I want to open a stocks & shares ISA but I'm someone who very much overthinks things, so combining that with my lack of experience here means I keep backing out of investing at the last minute. Here are my issues: 1. I want to invest at a sufficient risk level to make it worthwhile, but I am nervous about risk. I'm the…

Cash ISA ~partial~ transfer to Stocks and Shares ISA?
Lets say I've used up this tax year's ISA allowance, £20,000 into a Cash ISA. Is it possible to do a PARTIAL transfer, lets say £5,000, to a Stocks and Shares ISA? Is that allowed by the rules? Are there any known providers that are easy to do it with? Thanking you!

Chip ISA interest rate drop without notification?
Hi all, I've just noticed that my Chip ISA interest rate has dropped some time within the past week or so, but I never got any email notification to say it was happening? I thought the regulations were that if an interest rate was reducing, they had to notify the customer beforehand? Anyone else had this issue with Chip?…

Virgin money ISA transfer out - how long to reach recipient bank?
I have applied for a couple of ISA transfers out from Virgin Money following the maturity of my one year exclusive fixed rate ISAs. Trading 212 Cash ISA tax liability
I am new to ISA's so apologies if this seems like a stupid question. I opened my first ISA with Trading 212, I deposited £20,000 which I understand that the interest on this amount is tax free, if I put more money in this account will the first £20,000 remain tax free and I would only pay tax on interest on funds above…
