CHIP CASH ISA

From reading all the literature, CHIP say they pay interest on their Cash ISA on the 4th of every month, but it's now the 5th and mine is still showing as Pending.  I've messaged them but they can take a few days to reply.

I was considering transferring in money from another ISA, but have doubts about their reliability if they can't even credit the interest when they are supposed to!

Anyone else had an issue with Interest not being paid when expected?

I think it says the 4th business day. That will be the 6th June by my reckoning, 1st and 2nd being a weekend.

@slinger2 ,correct, 4th business day, not calendar day, @pennyfarthing66 you've jumped the gun by messaging Chip before checking the Ts and Cs.

@pennyfarthing66 as far as I know Chip do not, as yet, accept transfers in from other providers unless you have heard differently.

They had an tick box option to be emailed when transfers in become available on their website when I joined them in April this year, nothing received so far.

Edit : The transfer in registration is still on the website, so not yet available.
  • Oops!  🤣 Oh well, hopefully the interest will have been paid before they get back to me anyway...
