Wife on my insurance, but doesn't actually drive often.
Car insurance coming up for renewal. My wife has always been on my car insurance (her licence is valid) as a named driver. She doesn't actually need to drive my car, but also it is always nice to have the option for her to drive if required for any reason. She does not currently have her own car. Insurance Industry can perhaps make things clearer re questions asked?
(A post just disappeared about the questions we are asked when taking out a policy. And when policyholders do not disclose information.) With Insurance policies, we are applying on-line, on the telephone etc. Different things are going on as we take out a policy. (Misunderstandings and omissions can presumably occur. Then,…

Unsettled claim, but renewal soon
Had to make a claim this week on my buildings insurance. However, my insurance is up for renewal in a few weeks. Knowing how long it takes insurance companies to put wheels in motion, do I need to declare this new claim when getting new quotes if the clam is still unsettled? My logic would be that because I have to…
