Hastings Direct App

hi
i signed up to hastings direct for my car insurance
www.hastingsdirect.com

however i cannot get their much lauded app to work on my phone (Android)

does anyone have any experience with the app on Android?

i am trying to talk with them about it but not getting any reply by email, going to have to phone them it seems

    You can contact them via (Complaints no.) 0333 999 8904 (Mon / Fri 9am to 5pm) or 0333 321 9800 I think is the general no (at least that is the no. that came up on my phone - Android user as well)

    thanks for reply, i had to reset my password in the end.
    i also used a password with no special characters
    it's odd though as i could login via the webpage on my laptop with no problems, but those details would not work on the phone app

    working now so happy. but i was disappointed with Hastings as they did not reply to any emails i sent, i had to phone them in the end. they said they would call me back but just sent an email. 

    it's a company that wants you to do everything on the web with as little phone contact as possible. not sure i like this as it becomes very faceless and unhelpful. time will tell but at the moment i doubt i'll be renewing with them...

    Can anybody help me please too.  My son has just bought his first car and he has the app on his phone.  His journeys are showing on screen but they are not scoring and the app keeps logging him out for no reason.  Hasting are saying he is force closing the app, which he is not as i have been in the car with him and had his phone in my hand.  really appreciate any help as they are saying they will cancel his policy if this is not resolved in the next few days, thanks in advance

    I've left Hasting now but I would trying uninstalling and reinstall the app. ?
