Refund?
I think I've been Hacked by total AV or someone posing as.... It was through PayPal etc. I find it very difficult to sort this out as firstly one can't get through to either Total AV or indeed Paypal. Is there a more straightforward route, or do I just go through hoops? I have (I think) sent messages to both Total and…

Flowers or plants by post
Hi. Recommendations for flowers or plants by post as a housewarming gift, please. I've been the recipient of flowers by local florists - and the results have been mixed, to put it politely. Would I be better off with a big company rather than going directly to a local florist? Any other ideas for a housewarming gift by…

Clark's formal shoes dillemma
I bought a pair of size 8 shoes from Clark's. On their website, you had to choose extra wide fit or you could not add it to the cart. Now, 2 months after the shoes arrived, I went to wear them for work and found that these are actually the size of a 8.5 even though size 8 is plastered everywhere. Clarks' have refused to…

Are mug warmers worth it?
Has anybody ever used a temperature-controlled mug warmer to help stop your tea/coffee/[insert other warm beverage] from going cold while you work, or reheat it when you inevitably get distracted? We don't have a microwave (and since it's a cardinal sin to reheat one's tea in there anyway!), so looking for a good mug…

cheap condoms - to wrap toys
Just for toys for use on partner. We are married couple and trying for baby as well. So there is no need to be "reliable". just needed to wrap toys on to keep them clean. Any resources? Prefer not to go to sexual health clinic to try to get them free.

Save money on clothing?
I don't buy many clothes but when I do it's expensive. I can't go shopping as my toddler won't let me 😂 so I buy online or in Sainsburys before work. Not a lot of choice for this fussy person. I looked into 2nd hand but I'm concerned it's just as expensive and things won't last long as new? I usually buy new…

Paper doilies - who sells them?
You'd think they'd be sold all over the place BUT I find no reference to them on any supermarket site or places like Poundland and B&M. Has anyone seen them for sale anywhere recently?

Wait for Easter sale?
Hi, Not sure if this is the right thread to post. My washing machine and cooker need updating. Is it better to wait for Easter sale? I missed the winter sale because I was unable to afford it. Thanks. San

Bread machine recommendations please
My old bread machine is no longer performing. It sounds like mice being tortured (not good in an open plan home) and sometimes leaves black marks in the dough. I have being trying to find a twin paddle machine as I like to bake a decent sized loaf. I did get a single paddle machine on Freecycle but it made a very deep,…

Can anyone recommend or advise which Heated body Warmer to buy
I want to buy one of the body warmers which is heated by a battery pack. Its a Christmas present for someone who is not very mobile and needs to sit around a lot. I have looked at them on Amazon and they range from around £20 to near £100. The thing is that all the photos and descriptions seem similar so I don't know which…

Anyone used getonlineathome.com?
Seems good on the surface but legit or scam? Have you or do you know anyone who actually bought a computer or laptop through them? I'm trying to set up a Digital Inclusion Project at work where people can drop in and get help with making benefit applications, paying bills etc etc. Also my mums laptop is so old it needs to…

Curry’s Trade In Allowance
I saw they were offering money off for trading in used tech (personally hadn’t seen it before, so I assumed is a recent addition). I think it said you may get more than it’s worth. I put in my 18 month old laptop because I was mulling over upgrading. The offer was £15. Wonder if anyone had any successes using this scheme.

Mattress advice needed!
Hi, Does anyone have any recommendations for a good quality mattress company who will deliver, and importantly, take away the old mattress too? It would be for a double mattress. I'm not sure what a competitive price would be for this... All advice welcome, Thanks! H

Rebate / refund on Sodastream gas cylinders?
Hi all, wasn’t sure where to post this. I have a Sodastream that I don’t really use so I was going to sell it or give it away. I have quite a few gas cylinders, I know you can save £10 if your exchange them for new at the likes of Asda or Argos, but can you just get a refund for the £10 without buying a new one? I’ll keep…
