Hi, I need to replace my microwave as the current one keeps stopping during the cycle (sometimes immediately after pushing the start button). Any recommendations on brands? Thanks in advance.

SueAnyway I bought this from Asda, it works well, seems to reheat and cook quicker than the old one.

Unless you want combi oven etc basic microwaves are all more or less the same and it usually comes down to the size, output and appearance, analogue or digital controls and your budget.
I always go for stainless steel, rather than enamel interiors and minimum 900w output which is why our current one is a De Longhi. It could easily have been a Panasonic, Samsung etc had they been available at the time. It was about £90.
