Hair Wrap Vacuum

I need a cordless vacuum for a small house with hard floor and carpet. Long (human) hair is a problem, so it would need good anti-wrap features.

I just don’t know where to start. SO many models! Does anyone have access to latest test / review sites? They can be quite an investment these days so I need to buy right! Many thanks ☺️
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

We got a Shark Cordless Stick.

As not only a long haired person in the house, but also 2 dogs. Carpet & hard floor like you. No problem at all with hair getting stuck on brush bar at all.

Shark are better but never found one single vacuum that’s strong enough that’s cordless to be honest, it’s never quite as clean as the power of corded in my opinion

My friend had a Dyson cordless that lost power after 6 months and would only run for a minute on full charge and after contacting Dyson, they told her that cordless are not to be used as the main source of vacuuming and only to be used for the odd pick up job!!

My advice would be to go for a Dyson, Henry (they do 2 cordless ones now) or a Bissell.

This is because they last well and spare parts and repairs services are available.

We've had our Dyson cordless for 9 years this December, and we've only changed the battery once.

My sister has a Henry Cordless and loves it.

Our VAX broke just outside its warranty and they wouldn't fix it even though I offered to pay them, they don't have repair service centres and they don't sell spare parts either. The same goes for Shark.

Check online spares sites and you can see this for yourself.

An important thing to note is that you shouldn't run cordless vacuums on full power all the time. That causes the battery to get very hot and that kills them. Use low or medium, and boost the power only when you need to. Cleaning a whole house with them is no problem.
