I'm going to be buying a 65-75" TV in the sales. Do I need to be rushing out on Boxing day or am I better off waiting for the January sales or even the end of the sales?

Google Home Mini - £34 on the high street?
You can still buy the Google Home Mini for £34 if you order directly from Google online. All other retailers seem to be back at the higher price of £49. I phoned Currys PC World and asked if they would price match Google (they are including a wider range of retailers in their price promise for christmas, including Amazon)…

Christmas cake recipe dating from 1970s/80s
Many moons ago I had a wonderful Christmas cake recipe taken from one of the supermarket magazines (?Living?) produced in the 1970s or 1980s. It involved soaking the dried fruit in half a pint of sherry for about a week and the results were wonderful! Does anyone by any chance have a link to the recipe, or something very…

Hi Guys, Does anyone know anywhere that I could find good quality snow globes. I'm really struggling to find anywhere that sells anything which looks like decent quality. For those of you who have a DFS fabric ***not leather or fake leather effect*** sofa, did you buy DFS's FabriCare Kit for £25? Was/is it worth it? Looking at this website http://www.dehumidifier-reviews.co.uk/dehumidifier-running-costs it tells me there maybe a saving or it might be cost negative? Never having used a dehumidifier before I'm not sure if there is a bias from the website or who sells the best ones?

IKEA HEMNES Day-bed
I really like the below but as I got my King Size bed with mattress for under £300, I am a little reluctant to £409 for something that is a second bed for a second room that is seldom used (though it will also be the bed for the little one once he starts sleeping by himself.…
