Seeking a Timer with Dimming Function

Hi
I am wondering whether such a thing exists: a plug in timer with a dimming function. After spending approximately £40 on the base model Lumie dawn simulator, I have discovered that I don't react to light whilst sleeping, and it's not waking me up! I want to send it back for a refund, but my OH really likes it, so I'm trying to find some sort of cheaper alternative.
Does anyone know whether it's possible to buy a digital plug in timer that turns a dimmer bulb on and off gradually? Alternatively, can anyone recommend a brand of digital timer plug that makes minimal noise and can be used in the bedroom?
Thank you

Definately exist - quick check on Amazon brings up
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Automatic-min-dimmer-time-switch/dp/B01ANRT2X0/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_107_t_0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=86JNYEACKAD4CQ20TF50
( No idea how good / value of money this is )0 -
You could get a smart bulb. Then you can use an app like Stringify to set up a 'flow' which will dim the bulb up or down over a time period of your choosing either at a set time each day or in response to something else (like sunrise times etc.)0

Thanks copperclock. I hadn't thought of this option and I wasn't aware of Stringify. I'll look into it!0
