what is cheaper to cook than buy?
I am sure this has been discussed before but I can't find it. I make ricotta and bread and I think both of them are cheaper to make than buy - the bread is certainly nicer. What else makes sense to cook from scratch?

Impressed by how much I have saved
I've been sorting my finances out in the last few days and already saved hundreds. I've swapped gas & electricity suppliers from British Gas to Eon and according to uswitch will save around £500. Even if they follows suit and hike prices up it will still be much cheaper than BG. I had my car insurance renewal through in…

Glad I went Wilkinson's instead of Tesco
I had to go to Tesco this morning, I passed Wilkinson and noticed in their window Dettol Spray £1, so I thought I would go to Tesco first to price it, the cost was £2.24.
