Moving into new property - which is best deal...
Were moving into new property in the next week or so and want to have the internet and some decent tv stuff. Currently in rented property, so not ours to take lol. Not bothered about a phone, as we both get thousands of free minutes on our mobiles. I've noticed 02 do BB, but would we need a BT line, which would cost £11…

Recording Customer Service Calls
Tonight I called BT to leave their Broadband - nowhere near the advertised 8MB and although I am not one of those expecting to actually get that I don't expect to get only 20% of what's offered either. It's a new installation that was "promised" 6MB when I signed up - I am only 1Km from an upgraded exchange. I recalled…

Talktalks extra charge because BB not available in our area
Because BB was not available in our postcode area when I signed up for Talktalk BB in April 2006, I pay £10 per month additional fee. Clearly BB is now via our local exchange. Are TT justified in continuing to charge me £10 per month? Should this charge have stopped as soon as our exchange was upgraded/enabled? Am I…

Talktalk will end broadband unless I migrate line rental
I signed up with talktalk broadband in April 2006 but BT have always charged me for line rental. Talktalk have today phoned to say that I agreed in April 2006 to transfer line rental to them. I responded by saying that I thought the migration was optional. I asked for them to email me confirmation that my deal in 2006…

I have just moved house and I don't have any phone or broadband at the moment but I would like broadband (preferably 4MB) but don't want a phone line as I won't use it so seems like a waste of money. Do I have to pay £70 to BT?
I'm setting up broadband for a friend who has just moved into a new house. She has had a BT line installed a few days ago. She wants the Tiscali bundled £19.99 package - Talk Talk can't serve her area - but I have been told BT will charge her £70 or more for breach of contract. Is this true and is there a way round it? I…
