What to look for when buying a laptop?
Afternoon all I'm looking at buying a laptop, and I'm a little lost! What specs do I need to look at? I don't plan on using the laptop for gaming or anything to strenuous. I'm looking to run sage software on it, manage / listen to music, use Microsoft office / excel. I obviously don't want the laptop to be too cheap and…

Is it really 1600Mhz memory
I built my own computer a couple of years ago like I always do. The problem started earlier this year 2017. I would launch a game and at random intervals it would crash. the only way I could get back to the desktop would be to pressing the reset button. This happened every time with this game and once or twice with another…

Blu-ray query
I purchased a new blu-ray DVD player recently. One new DVD I purchased the sound is out of sync with the picture but this doesn't happen on other DVDs recently purchased. This leads me to think the DVD is faulty rather than a problem with the equipment. Is this likely?

Domain for emails only
Hi all I've currently got a GMail account I use for all my emails (with some of the +whatever extensions). I've been toying with the idea of buying a domain with (relatively) unlimited email addresses in order to separate things out a bit more. With the GMail account, I can receive emails to myname+wherever@GMail .com but…

Best 10" tablet on a budget
My Samsung Galaxy 3 was a reconditioned one as I'd never had one before. It's been really good except often when tapping a link, it can take multiple taps to get the link to work. This is now getting worse, but the keyboard always works perfectly, so unsure if it's an issue with the tablet or not. But presuming I need to…
