How to block Outlook pop ups?
I am using Firefox and Outlook for my emails. When opening Outlook to check or send emails a pop up appears all down the right hand side of the window which is usually some form of !!!!!!. How do I block this? In easy to understand language please I am not very skilled at sorting things out via the computer. Thanks.

Can you access internet on a laptop/smartphone without landline and wi-fi?
I have a friend who's basically housebound but can't afford a landline and just has a payg mobile phone. I was thinking of getting him an old laptop or smartphone as i'm sure he'd get into surfing the www. Is there any way you can surf the net without a landline and wi-fi?

How to read old posts on a lengthy blog
I am trying to read http://gizmodo.com/ It's a long list of individual items. Problem is I want to go back several months, and look at every article. I can keep clicking on 'More Stories', but after a while, it grows so big that my browser crashes. Can anyone offer a way to jump back one month, and start from there? Thanks

Do these slow down?
I recently had fibre optic (medium) installed, aside from from that, I have noticed of late that on initial start-up, it is slow to load pages. I have:- Evernote, Pocket, Do-not-track-me, Adblock Plus, Better pop up blocker and Hover Zoom Does anyone feel either of these might contribute to the slowing down?
