Important... Tomtom & Homer Simpson departed!
Hi, thanks for looking. I have purchased a new TomTom sat nav to replace my 6 year old one. Devastated that my official Homer Simpson voice is on my old machine and TomTom are asking if I want to pay again to put it on my new machine. I've already bought it once, is there anyway to transfer it to my new Go Live 950?…

I have put it in the airing cupboard as soon as it happened (now been 24 hours), and it does not work. Whilst I am a former IT engineer, I do not want to take it apart (it is out of warranty but if I can convince Acer…

Wireless Access Point setup
Hi, I'm currently a Be broadband customer, which means I'm using their 'BeBox' (Thomson TG585 v7). I'm getting a bit fed up with it, though, as I get disconnected quite frequently (I think due to using BBC iPlayer and similar alongside uTorrent keeps overloading the router's maximum concurrent connections.), it doesn't…

Humax Vs Sky+
Well, in MSE mode we bought a Humax Foxsat and cancelled our £10 sub. to Sky. So far the Humax box has been a real pain to use! Nowhere near as easy as the Sky one. For example what do all the symbols and colours mean and why aren't they in the handbook? Then when I want to record a program, unless I am watching it it…

Problems with Playstation 3 after System Update 3.70
On 01/09/11 I was happily playing games on my old style 'fat' 80gb PS3 with no issues whatsoever. Infact I've had no issues with it since I bought it in 2008 ... until now. The following day, I switched my console on again to find there was a new system update to download from Sony (version 3.70). So, as I have done since…

Freeview+ Set-up
Hi! Just set up my new Freeview+ Box (Humax PVR-9300T) to connect to a Sony Dig Ready TV. Everything seems O.K. but when I put the box in stand-by mode, I lose all channels on TV. Surely I don't have to play the TV through the box all the time! Have re-tuned TV several times but just says "No Channels stored". Have I not…
