Sky don't use it for anything at the moment but you can use it to charge mobiles etc.0

Ah, I was hoping I could transfer recorded programmes to a memory stick or HDD so I could watch elsewhere on my laptop.0

No you can't use it to transfer anything, why don't you just use SkyGo to watch them on your laptop?0

Yes you can and no it doesn't. You can use Sky Go on two devices, like your iPhone and a laptop.
The programmes you get will be the same as those on your mum's account.

Apparently you can use the USB port to install/update firmware, but it's not for the feint-hearted and it's not recommended unless you know what you are doing!!DMP Mutual Support Thread member 244
