Acer update manager stopped working??
I recently bought the acer aspire 5742 laptop - today it said 'update manager has stopped working' - what has happened??? how do i fix this??.........what if it isn't fixed - will my laptop get ruined without the update manager working?? i'm a novice regarding laptops so very basic 'fixes' please!!XX thank you,

Using master socket - bb speed is almost double!why?

Avast update warning
I just updated Avast its a program update rather than a database update. On restarting the computer was slow and unresponsive to clicks, keys etc, and Avast had issues starting up.
