Evening everyone,
Im hoping someone can give me abit of advice?
At the end of last summer [2010] I purchased just over £1000 worth of electrical goods from Currys. One of which was a 106" projector screen for £329. At the time I did not have the facility to install it but for the type and model of screen [Greywolf grey screen with 1.8 gain] at that price it would of been silly not to buy it as I would of done so at a later date.
I had the screen installed just after Christmas 2010 and when the screen dropped electronically to my amazment I found that the screen was white and not grey, this would also mean that it would deffinatley not be 1.8 gain.
I contacted Currys customer service desk twice and although I was unable to find the recept at the time I was told that there as nothing they could do. I have now found the receipta nd was wondering where I stood?
Obviously I would prefer to have the screen I thought I had originally purchased byt as its now been professionally installed I am slightly reluntant to remove it as it would leave large holes, metal studs and such hanging out of my ceiling.
Does anyone know where I stand in replacing it or obtaining compensation for not getting what it should of been?
Thanks.

It definately says 'grey' on the box it came in?
as there could have been multiple colours and you mistakenly picked up a white instead of grey under a general "projecter screen for £329" sales sign.
but I say no chance aswell they dont know if you have been using it all this time.0 -
Nope, should be a grey screen. Nevermind. Im impressed with what I have set up but annoyed that its not what it should be.0
