Microsoft publisher and open office?

USB3 worth waiting for?
I'm looking for a new laptop. I've seen reports that a new USB socket will be introduced soon that is much faster. Do I buy my laptop now or wait for one with a USB3? I don't download videos and the such like except for an odd transfer from my video camera.

Printer wont work on new PC
I have just bought a new computer and I just simply replaced it - put all the wires where they were in the old one. Everything works apart from the printer - I have looked at the settings on the computer and it seems to know the printer is there, I just cant get it to print.. Any ideas? Thanks in anticipation
