Blue Screen of Death at startup!

Hi all,
Over the past few months i have been having problems with my computer connecting to my router and often the only way to fix the problem has been to restart the router. Unfortunately, most often the computer would close down but be stuck at the 'shutting down' screen for hours upon hours soi would just have to manually switch it off by holding the power button - i have been doing this approx. 3 times per day for the past 2 months. I know this could seriously corrupt the harddrive but what else could i do. Not sure whether this has contributed to the problem i outline below but i have included just incase.
Anyway today i was just about to log off when my younger brother thought it would be funny to swithc off the computer from the mains. I tried putting it on again but i got the 'Could not load Windows screen'. I started Startup Repair but it just went to a BSOD:
STOP: 0x000000F4 (0x00000003, 0x84EFAD90, 0x08F3B8CD4, 0x0000000)
win32k.sys - Address 8F3B8CD4 base at 8F200000, Datestamp 4549aea2.
Put computer off and tried Startup Repair but again would either get BSOD again or it would just keep on running and curiously the mouse would stop responding and when i hit a keyboard button everything freezes.
Also tried putting in safe mode but no luck as i would get a (different) BSOD:
STOP: 0X00008086 (0X0000000, 0X0000000, 0X0000000, 0X0000000).
Can anyone help?? Please!! :eek:
P.S. I tried to system restore but it says i have no restore points made up when i am sure i have!
