Netbook performance: OpenOffice or MS Office under WINE?
After tiring of the frequent anti-virus/malware updates XP requires (and the amount of time that takes!), I installed Arch Linux on my netbook. I'm now trying to decide which word processing and spreadsheet applications to install. Generally, I much prefer MS Office to OpenOffice (due to compatibility issues), but the only…

About Kaspersky
Another question for you tonight. A version of Kaspersky on my mum's computer has detected a virus. It shows up in all viruses, however does not show up in active threats, quarantined or deleted sections. Has it just found a virus which has then moved itself and now escaped the notice of the AV? Or is it unlikely to cause…

PS3 steering wheels - do they work well?
DS2 has asked for a steering wheel for the PS3 for Christmas. Do they work well? Frustration is often rife when the kids are on the PS3 and I certainly don't want to add to that. Does anybody have a wheel and if so does it add to the enjoyment of the game - thinking F1 and Gran turismo. Thanks
