Another question for you tonight.
A version of Kaspersky on my mum's computer has detected a virus.
It shows up in all viruses, however does not show up in active threats, quarantined or deleted sections.
Has it just found a virus which has then moved itself and now escaped the notice of the AV? Or is it unlikely to cause any issues?
TBH I plan to move to ESET security on that machine when the renewal comes up but in the mean time what are your thoughts.
(Can provide a hijack this if needed)

If it were on your pc, it's location would be c:\..., d:\... or whatever hard drive the file was located on.Looks like Kaspersky automatically blocked it from downloading so there's nothing to delete, quarantine etc.

Was just worried that it had flagged a virus and couldn't tell me what it had done with it.0 -
I have Kaspersky and as dogmary has
said it blocks it before it downloads

I had the same worry when I first got kaspersky
Then I realised it had dealt with the virus before informing me 0
