Instal problem for update for Windows Live Essentials 2011

Laptop normally auto updates but keep getting following message when trying to update for Windows Live Essentials 2011 -
'Couldnt install programs - You already have a different build flavour of Windows Live. If you want to install this version, first uninstall the version that is installed on your computer Error:0x80280008'

I am running Windows Vista Service Pack2, I also have
Avira AntiVir Personal which is always active and also run Malwarebytes.

I know that Avira automaticaly turns off Windows Defender.

Does the 'different build flavour' message refer to Avira?

How can I resolve this so the laptop updates as normal?
