Hey everyone Im thinking about getting the Acer Ferrari laptop from argos in a month or so and wanted to know whether or not you think its a good deal.

It's a good deal for a fairly average performer but then at that budget ie sub £400 the majority of laptops have similar levels of performance. To get much better performance you'd have to add another £150-£200 to your budget.
There's a review here of the Acer Ferrari which confirms also that it will struggle with recent games and 1080p video but is ok with standard definition and 720p video.0 -
I had one but found it quite slow, mine had 3g ram and it was also from Argos.0

Check out Argos clearance bargains on Ebay, you still get the full 1yr guarantee for the refurbished laptops they sell. This one listed now has 3GB ram for £329.99 , so a better deal than the Amazon one, which has only 2GB. Just £2 extra for a bigger memory.
