Swapping Hard Disks when you have no Windows CDs?
I'd like to swap the hard drive in my GX520 for a larger one. But I don't have any Windows disks. If I make a disk image (don't know how to, but I do own Norton Ghost CD) can I make the new disk look like the old disk? Do I then have to phone up microsoft and plead to be reactivated? Earlier today, I right clicked on "save background as", or "set as background" and now when I switch on, my icons are set on a background of multi colours that I don't want. Acronis image backup started failing!
Been using Acronis 9, booting it off CD, to backup my laptop disk to external USB drive. After a bad crash (lost power) I had a corrupted Outlook file.
