Need to complain to Dell Computers - contact?

I can't get any sense out of Dell's Mumbai office as to why my order (original promised delivery in 24 days) will now take 7 weeks. They were quick enough taking my Visa money.

Does anyone have an email address or telephone number that will connect with someone in the UK or Ireland who might take my problem seriously, please?

Thank you. Yes these are 0870 numbers so they appear to be UK numbers but often these ring through to numbers which are answered in Mumbai. Does anyone know which ones are actually answered by people in the UK?

I think I may have just answered my own question by using www.saynoto0870.com. But the trouble is that even a UK number can still ring in Mumbai and the Headquarters switchboard may do the same when they put you through.

When I had problems with Dell, the CS that I used to email was [EMAIL="Samita_S@Dell.com"]Samita_S@Dell.com[/EMAIL] she was excellent. Try that. She got me a full refund after having the PC for a month.

Martin actually explained about this on Radio 2 the other week. Companies don't necessarily make any money on 0870 numbers; they're used to redirect calls to Mumbai for example or if somebody was working from home it could direct it there (not for Dell but that's what the system can be used for) or direct to certain call centres depending on the time of day.
