Swapping Hard Disks when you have no Windows CDs?

I'd like to swap the hard drive in my GX520 for a larger one. But I don't have any Windows disks. If I make a disk image (don't know how to, but I do own Norton Ghost CD) can I make the new disk look like the old disk?

Do I then have to phone up microsoft and plead to be reactivated?

And............

I keep reading about hard drives and they quote all different SATA's... II or 300 or other things (and RAID). How do I know what is correct.

And.............

I see "upgradable to 750GB" drives. How do you upgrade these?

Cheers
