PS2 not playing most of my son's DVDs

PC's and thunderstorms..
I was always told to unplug pc's from the phone line in thunderstorms in case a phone pylon was hit and it fried the computer... we now have a wireless connection but I'm wondering what the risks are with having the pc during a thunderstorm?

Which laptop processor will be faster.......
.....and would i have any problems running Vista Premium. The choices are - AMD Turion TL52 Processor with 2gb Ram and 160gb hd, or Celeron M430 Processor with 1gb Ram and 120gb hd. Loss of connection when viewing video clips
I am having to reset my router due to loss of connection when attempting to view trailers/movie clips etc. Is there something I should be looking for either in my PC settings or with the router. Hello all - Use the main AVG anti-virus (free) programme as my main virus protection. Also use the free Zone Alarm firewall plus the Windows Defender and XP firewall. Just wondering if anyone think its also using the 2 additional free AVG products mentioned in the title?
