Hello all - Use the main AVG anti-virus (free) programme as my main virus protection. Also use the free Zone Alarm firewall plus the Windows Defender and XP firewall. Just wondering if anyone think its also using the 2 additional free AVG products mentioned in the title?

Why do you have the XP firewall running as well as ZA? Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

As above posts, Re, the AVG Anti-Spyware and Anti-Rootkit Free, It does no harm at all to run these two programs, It'll give you an extra level of protection. Alan.Every day when I wake up I thank the Lord I'm WELSH. .0

Sorry my mistake. Looked a bit further and its actually the Zone Alarm firewall showing with the XP security centre. Therefore I am just running the one firewall programme
That's ok then. You should be fine scanning with the aforementioned extra antimalware programs. Conflicts generally on arise when you have multiple active/shield/real time scans running."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Well so far very impressed with the AVG free anti-spyware. As I mentioned earlier I also use Windows Defender which I unless I have missed something has never picked up any issues. However currently in the middle of my first scan with the AVG product and its so far picked up about 8 medium risk tracking cookie's and adware files0
