Windows 2000 or Windows XP
Hi Everyone I am looking to upgrade my home computer as currently only have Windows Me - and have now got a new MP3 player and want to put the software that came with it on my PC - that needs 2000 or newer!! So my question is - where is the best place to buy this from - for the cheapest?? Which would I be best upgrading to?

Open Office 2.0 Beta
Has anyone been using this Beta version? I downloaded it last night and had a brief play with 'writer'. It looks better and they've moved the word count function onto the tools menu so it's easier to find. They've also included 'base' which I'm assuming is their version of Access. Is this any goood? Firewall
I've been on a forum that says I need a firewall as they are showing me my ISP number and what version of windows and IE I'm using. So I tried to install Zonealarm but yet again my PC decided to have an error and not install it! I already run the firewall that comes with XP, is this not enough?

a cluttered system tray...
Over moderate to high use, my PC's system tray became cluttered with icons which I suspect take up resources unecessarily... Epson printer problem.
I have a Epson C64plus printer which i use for text etc, and i also have a Epson R300 photo printer for printing off photos, but the C64plus has now died :eek: , and a replacement is on the way, in the mean time i have used the R300 for printing a couple of text things for the kids homework, but it's missing off about 1/2…
