I have a Epson C64plus printer which i use for text etc, and i also have a Epson R300 photo printer for printing off photos, but the C64plus has now died  , and a replacement is on the way, in the mean time i have used the R300 for printing a couple of text things for the kids homework, but it's missing off about 1/2 inch of text on the right margin, (it is brill at pictures), is there a easy fix for this or should i just leave well alone and wait for my new printer to come. :T .
thanks Mr Dunkyboy.

Sounds like it's just margin settings or paper size. Easy to sort outDunkyboy wrote:I have a Epson C64plus printer which i use for text etc, and i also have a Epson R300 photo printer for printing off photos, but the C64plus has now died  , and a replacement is on the way, in the mean time i have used the R300 for printing a couple of text things for the kids homework, but it's missing off about 1/2 inch of text on the right margin, (it is brill at pictures), is there a easy fix for this or should i just leave well alone and wait for my new printer to come. :T .

But why does it show you the print preview as being perfect, then the bl**dy thing goes and prints it different. I thought the whole point of preview was to make sure that you got what you wanted.........
Given up on this, will wait for my neprinter to make an appearence. Not ashamed to say ABBA are Great :j0 -
Because the prewview doesn't know what margins you've got set? 'Cos it's thick? Try setting all margins to zero. Have you got the paper set right in the printer? I'd adjusted the paper position for one print run, then forgot to put it back for a different one...Dunkyboy wrote:But why does it show you the print preview as being perfect, then the bl**dy thing goes and prints it different. I altered the margins as suggested, i changed them down to 1.
They were on 19.55ish.
Installed new printer and the sodding thing is giving me grief  , keeps stopping half way through a page and starts refreshing its-self? :wall: Giving in for today, and will try to reinstall it again tomorrow. Not ashamed to say ABBA are Great :j0 -
That's good to knowDunkyboy wrote:I altered the margins as suggested, i changed them down to 1.

On the last couple of printers I've had - if you set the margins to zero they will reset themselves to the minimum they can deal with and still work.
