Magic Gate memory stick help please

My wife has a clie with a music player and headphones. I have installed all the software that came with it on my pc and have got a magic gate memory stick - but I cant transfer music to it. I have tried open MG jukebox and real1player but the former says "not copyright protected" and the latter says file type not supported (MP3). Can anyone help

Which model of Clié is it?

I think its a PEG770 Clie (a little old)
Sorry for the delay, I had to go out yesterday, and I'd already spent 2 hours trying to get it to work.

PS Have now gone back to basics and ripped tracks with windows media player and transferred them to the stick using ms import on the clie - it seems to work but I thought the provided software should work.

Not sure but I can find out but I think the older models don't suppport MP3 format.
