Just to add to Skint's post, call your local Trading Standards, and report the problem. If you bought online and there is a breach of the Distance Selling Regulations, they may be able to act. ALWAYS report a problem where the retailer is denying liabilty. You can do so HERE.I haven't been asked to tell you that I'm the Board Drunk for this board. As the night wears on, my posts will become worse, with simple spelling mistakes, inane ramblings, and a blatant disregard for the truth. I have no authority to do anything, so there's no point asking or telling me. If you see me past midnight, please tell me to get my coat and order me a taxi.

A few weeks ago Misco started leaving messages on my mobile to the effect that I had an oustanding account requiring urgent payment. I didn't even know who Misco were! Of course the expected me to ring back on a 0870 number, so I looked at their website and just emailed - asking them to ring me at a convenient time so they could explain.
More messages, no reply to email for approximately 2 weeks and then they eventually called when I wasn't in a meeting. Turns out they had taken over Simply from whom I bought a printer a year ago. Bought and paid by Amex .. had email as proof. Person I spoke to was apologetic and said she'd sort it out .... I said I'd check the Amex bill (if I could find it) from the previous May and said this might take some time and incur a cost if I have to ask Amex for a duplicate. She said 'fine I'll mark your account to say not to bother you for a while and I'LL SEE WHAT I CAN FIND OUT.
Remember the order was a whole year before..
next day we get an email titled 'Final Demand Before Legal Action' -->

I was livid .. many phone calls later and many failed promises to call back with details of what the problem was they eventually said that due to an error with their process the amount was never picked up from Amex.. So why am I the villain?
Just avoid them - it's probably easier in the long run. :mad:HLK

While we're warning off people. I would avoid ebuyer too
I've been in 'the' business for a long time and i would never deal with a company that doesn't let you phone it.
Ebuyer is quick and fine when things go right but when they go wrong they go very wrong-34k to 0 from september '05
