Win '98 error message on boot up
Hi All, We booted up our pc with a disk in and got the message: "Invalid system disk replace the disk and then press any key" We removed the disk but the message keeps coming back, even after powering off and back on again. We have just sold it on ebay as well !! Help!

Firewall
I downloaded Windows SP2 with windows firewall on it. I then deleted EZ firewall because it was not always allowing me to access sites saying cookies are not enabled. Since I deleted EZ it has been fine. My query is windows firewall alright to use on its own or do I need to add another firewall?

my father in law as just purchased a dvd recorder as the video is on its last legs, he was asking if it would be possible to record his favorite videos onto a dvd at home, i am completely clueless and wondered if anyone could advise. thanks in advance x

Freeview gone pink!
Our Thompson Freeview is now colouring every channel pink! We've switched it off for a few hours and then reloaded but it's all still pink. Terrestrial is fine so it's definitely the box. And the guarantee ran out a few weeks ago, typical. Do I declare it officially dead and get a new one or is there anything I can do?
