Hi Guys Is there a website which will allow me to search universities for a certain subject taught? Where can I find out about a university and it's campus life/city life without relying on the uni website? My mothers friend in Cyprus has a daughter who wishes to study law in the UK - however they are a bit worried about…

How many hours paid work do you do per week during term time?
Hello, When I enter my second year, my outgoings are going to increase dramatically due to travel costs. To cover each week, I have worked out that I would have to work about 16 hours. But the course will involve three days of placement, plus 1-2 days of lectures. To be honest, I do think that 16 hours will be too much and…

Maths question doing my head in!
I'm trying to solve: SIN(0.25x) = 0.05 for all x in the range from 0 to 360 degrees. I get x = 11.46 and 168.54. But when I plug these values back into the equation, the second one does not work out.....I got the second answer using the fact that SIN X = SIN (180 - X). So why doesn't it work...doing my head in!! Thanks! L

Changing Bank Accounts
I have a Natwest student account. Having read through the stuff on here though I think The HBOS account looks better with its £2750 overdraft, and I can see myself needing it over the next 4/1/2 years. So do I have to close my Natwest account before I can open a HBOS one and get the overdraft. Can I open a HBOS one with no…

Exams
Now seems to be a good time to have a thread on exams with 5 or 6 weeks until most universities have their exams. What is the best way to over come common problems like exam panic? I think the best way to think of exams is even if you fail, it is not the end of the world and there is always a resit or you have to find…
