Graduate bank accounts

Hello,
Couple of quick yet important questions:
I am now a graduate and still have a student account i am sure as my overdraft is still interest free. Been graduates for a year and my account is with the bank of scotland...i am right in saying that i have this interest free overdraft for 2years after i graduate right??? I am sure i heard it somewhere. Also, planning on going travelling abroad for a year, or more from this June...could i keep my interest free overdraft at the limit it is for that length of time, unfourtunately i am going to have to rely on my overdraft limit and i can only go travelling now....trust me!!
Also, am i able to get the limit increased...its currently £1,750.....though i am aware that it could be up to £2250 i think...have asked before and the reason i think they have said no is because i have not had many incomings in the past though over the past 6months i have(though i am always tittering around the limit of my overdraft :-(
Any help and advice here would be great

When you graduate, your account is usually automatically changed to a graduate account. You usually keep the same interest free overdraft for 1 year, they then reduce the interest-free component by around £500 a year, until it is down to nothing, or whatever their standard offering is...

I have a bank of scotland student account....i dont think they have changed it to a graduate account yet though even though i graduated near abyear ago....so hopefully ill have a year from this summer. Can i keep my agreed limit overdraft at what it currently is for a year to go travelling???0

you can probably keep the limit but the amount that is interest free is very likely to be reduced (that's what natwest do anyway). i'd check with them - you don't have to necessarily mention the year of graduation (i'd avoid outright lying about it!) but just check when your overdraft conditions will be changed.:happyhear0
