Cycling clothes not lycra
Apologies if this has been done before, can't get the search working. I've started cycling to work over a reasonable distance (15 miles each way) and think I need some more suitable clothing. Running shoes
Hi Can anyone advise if there is the same level of cushioning in stability running shoes and there is in cushioned/neutral running shoes? Belly toning / sit-ups with broken neck
It's the area I wouldn't mind toning (two children and all that makes it the first place to go a bit saggy), but as I have a broken neck, I feel uncomfortable doing normal sit-ups or using a roller thingie. My neck was broken four years ago and I'm back to normal, just don't like excess pressure there ( understandably I…

Poor Balance
After losing 3 stones from Feb to Sept last year I joined our council gym and have lost a further stone since. I'm fine with the gym equipment and swimming. Low intensity exercises for start of weight loss
Generally what would people recommend for a low intensity exercise for fat burning / weight loss? My body itself is in OK health despite me being morbidly obese. I don't get breathless easy, but I can't run 100 yards either without being breathless (nor would I want to) :( :( Anyway, what suggestions would people say I…

Changes to Bannantynes
I am livid. Went to this gym for years. During the day, It use to be £40.00 including a towel. Several years ago, they changed it to £45.00. If I signed in my husband/daughters, depending on who served me, I would be charged either £7.00 or £10.00, no charges for their towels. That's changed! New charges to sign someone…

trampette - effective or not
Hi anyone used or using a trampette for weight loss with good results? I already go to the gym for 50mins cardio daily before work and a bit of weights on weekends but wanted to see if I could do a bit more light exercise in the evening at home in front of tv. Thought of a trampette but unsure if just a gimmick
