best (women's) trainers brand?

Want to get a new pair of trainers for use in the house with my new rebounder. Ages since I bought my last pair which I wear to the gym.

I know Nike is the most trendy but do any other brands compare for quality? Looking at Sports Direct there's loads of brands so if I can get a decent pair for 25 pounds instead of 75 so much the better.
But would pay for better quality if needed.

Any ideas anyone? Particularly brands and 'models' if that's the right word for rebounding, which is basically bouncing/ jumping if anyone can recommend?

Thanks

Asics are a good, solid brand. The right shoe for you though depends on you as an individual - your body size, level of pronation etc.

I like Asics too. I run and also have a pair of Nike that I rotate with and I definitely prefer the Asics.

I'm not female but for running I prefer to use Nike or Asics

I like Asics too and I like that they are a true fit, so I don't have to go up or down a size from what I am in shoes!

I would never scrimp on sports shoes - tend to think you get what you pay for unless you happen to find a past season for sale in Sports Direct. Though I do boot camp and run a lot so I'm hard on my trainers and need something up to the job.

When i first got some for boot camp I went to a proper running shop, tried on a number of different brands - ran on the machine etc. I have narrow feet and although had previously worn nike as they used to be narrow, found Adidas felt a lot better. i consciously went by the feel and wasn't swayed by brand or colour.

I take a size larger in them than I do in normal shoes - because I usually have to size down in shoes in order to get the width right else they slide about on my feet. So in reality, I find Adidas are true to size for me.

just bought another pair of adidas from http://www.sportsshoes.com - still wearing them in but seem to be holding up well so far.

Go to a specialist sports shop and get measured as well as tell them what you need the shoe to do. They will guide you and even if it's more expensive injuries aren't worth it. I prefer NewBalance for gym classes and gym work outs. There is a difference to what shoe you need for a cross trainer as opposed to a running machine
