PPI Claim Knocked Back - Lloyds/Blackhorse - Now What?
I applied to reclaim the PPI I had on a car loan provided by Black Horse Finanace that was taken out in March 2006. The claim was based on the fact that I didn't want the PPI but was pressurised in to taking it with scare tactics. I never wanted the PPI. So I filled in an online PPI claim form on the Black Horse website. I…

New to all this - question !
My son was clearing out old paperwork today and we found an agreement form for a loan taken out with the Clydesdale Bank in March 2004 for £4000. It has PPI on it. The loan was paid off in full in March 2010. Is this the kind of thing that people are claiming back? I know nothing about PPI.

Business Loan PPI - HSBC
In 2002 my company took out a business loan from HSBC. At the time, I was the sole employee and director of the company, and the company had enough cash in it's account to cover the total loan - I wanted to keep the cashflow for growing the business. I also had to give a personal guarantee to the bank in the form of a…

Hi, I recently sent a SAR to Barclaycard with a £10 cheque and instead of statements (as i was expecting) i have received reams of complicated-to-understand printouts with codes and phrases that do not explain anything to the layperson. You won't believe this
I started a claim with Halifax when it first came out that PPI was missold, I always thought that I wouldn't have had it if I'd had a better explanation. So I wrote to Halifax who said they would pay, then said they had no record of me ever paying PPI. Following the ruling and struggling a bit moneywise I thought I'd have…

Don't use PPI companies - You don't need to.
I'm writing to let people know that there is no need to use these companies that advertise on TV and such. All that will happen is they will get a big lump of any money you get back. I thought about using one of these companies but decided to look into it first. On looking on my credit card company website I found a form…

Mis sold life insurance and critical care
Hi I wonder if anyone can shed some light on whether or not we will be able to claim for missold life insurance and critical care cover. We were told at the time of taking out our mortgage (Nov 2003) that we had to have this as a requirement of the lender. The policy is with Zurich (or Allied Dunbar as it was then) and was…

Reclaiming time limit
Hi all Recently made a successful claim against Natwest for PPI on a loan which I took out in 2005, based on the fact that I wasn't aware I had the insurance and it was unnecessary anyway as I already had substantial life insurance from Natwest themselves, plus civil service sickness and redundancy terms (generous!).
